About Heavy Duty Ball Bearing Hinges: Hinges include Ball Bearing between the knuckles which reduce friction bought on by the movement of the hinge. The Heavy Duty hinges have a thicker leaf than residential plain bearing hinges, Ball Bearing hinges will ensure a smooth open and close, particularly on exterior doors.
