The Saniplus 1/2 HP Macerating Pump System makes it possible to install a complete bathroom almost anywhere—up to 15 ft below the sewer line or 150 ft horizontally from a soil stack. Designed for residential applications, it features a powerful stainless steel macerating system that efficiently handles human waste and toilet paper with no blades to service or replace.

Inside the unit, a sealed, oil-filled motor drives both the macerator blades and the pump using a single shaft, keeping moving parts to a minimum for long-term reliability. When the toilet is flushed, incoming water activates a pressure chamber micro-switch, starting the motor. Waste is reduced to a fine slurry as the blades rotate at 3,600 RPM, then pumped upward or horizontally as required. Once the water level drops, the system automatically shuts off. A typical cycle lasts only 10–12 seconds, keeping power consumption low.

In addition to toilet waste, the Saniplus can handle gray water from a sink, bathtub, shower, or urinal via two 2″ side inlets. The adjustable discharge elbow allows left, right, or rear routing and includes a pre-installed non-return valve to prevent backflow. For quiet operation, the unit incorporates vibration absorbers, reducing operating noise by 10 dB. A vent connection is provided and must be tied into a two-way vent system per plumbing code. The unit is designed for use with a rear-discharge toilet, which uses less water than standard models, and connection to a GFI circuit is strongly recommended.
